Recently, InnoLight Technology, a company that

low-power 100G QSFP-DD first in China and 400G QSFP-DD ZR/OpenZR+ coherent
optical modules with the smallest package size in the industry.
The 400G ZR and OpenZR+ QSFP-DD coherent optical modules utilize advanced technologies, such as low-power digital signal processing (DSP), narrow-linewidth tunable ITLA, and silicon photonics integration. These products have the advantages of small size, low power consumption and high performance. The maximum power consumption is less than 18W, and the character of interconnection between modules of the same type is supported, which means the 400G ZR modules can be interconnected in CFEC mode, it is same to 400G OpenZR+ modules in oFEC mode. They are mainly used in Data Center interconnections (DCI) and metro area(MR). As for the 400G OpenZR+ modules, the transmission distance can reach up to 500 kilometers. According to data of Cignal AI (a market research company), the shipment volume of the 400G ZR and OpenZR+ coherent optical modules will increase with the compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of greater than 100% by 2025.
400G QSFP-DD ZR/ZR+
The 100G QSFP-DD coherent optical module with ultra-low power consumption character supports the SCFEC/GEC/OFEC forward error correction(FEC) technologies and has good interconnection performance. Its optical components utilize advanced silicon photonics integration, feature in low insertion loss, high bandwidth, and low costs, and can meet different market requirements. Its excellent dispersion compensation capability makes it suitable for 80 km to 200 km 5G backhaul and dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) of edge aggregation networks and DCI.
100G QSFP-DD ZR+
The high-performance 400G CFP2 DCO coherent optical module utilizes high-performance 7 nm DSP and has powerful Probabilistic Constellation Shaping (PCS) capabilities, which greatly improves the optical signal-to-noise ratio (OSNR) sensitivity and error code correction capabilities. It utilizes high-bandwidth silicon photonic components that use BGA packaging to provide the performance same as that of InP components. Lab results have proven that the 400G CFP2 DCO coherent optical module supports transmission distance of 1000 km or longer.The module has excellent performance and can be widely used in metro, optical transport network and DCI.
