In accordance with Article 8 (1) of thePersonal Data Protection Act (hereinafter referred to as “theAct”), InnoLight Technology Pte. Limited Taiwan Branch (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) shall clearly inform you of the following matters when collecting personal data from you:

I. Name of non-public service organ: InnoLight Technology Pte. Limited Taiwan Branch

II. Purpose of collection: application for the processing and utilization of product samples or materials, business or technical personnel's assistance in operation processing, personnel's product promotion and publicity, customer management and services, marketing, market research, statistics and research analysis, and other business needs within the business scope specified in the business registration items or the articles of association.

III. Types of personal data: name, means of communication, company information, product category and other details as specified in the application form, which shall be subject to the Company’s businesses or services with the customer as well as the personal data actually collected from the customer or third party.

IV. Duration, region, object and methods of personal data utilization:

(i) Duration: the period of personal data existence for a specific purpose of use, the period of personal data preservation as required by relevant laws and regulations or necessary for the execution of businesses, or the period of preservation of personal data as determined by individual activities. (subject to the longest term).

(ii) Region: the domestic and foreign location of the “object of personal data utilization”.

(iii) Objects: the Company (including outsourced organizations entrusted by the company for handling affairs), the organizations utilizing data according to laws and regulations, other business-related organizations, legally authorized authorities, and the objects agreed by the customer.

(iv) Methods: Automated machines or other non-automated means of utilization in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.

V. According to Article 3 in theAct, you may exercise the following rights pertaining to the Company’s retention of your personal data:

(i) Apart from the exceptions specified in Article 10 in theAct, you may inquire, request to read or request to make copies from the Company. The Company may charge necessary costs according to Article 14 in theAct.

(ii) You may request supplementation or correction from the Company, provided that it is in accordance with Article 19 of the detailed rules for the implementation of theAct, you shall properly explain the reasons and facts.

(iii) If the Company collects, processes or utilizes your personal data in violation of theAct, according to Article 11 (4) in theAct, you may request the Company to stop collecting your personal data.

(iv) As stipulated in Article 11 (2) in theAct, in case of any dispute over the correctness of your personal data, you may request the Company to stop processing or utilizing your personal data. As stipulated in the proviso of this item, the Company’s utilization of data which is necessary for the execution of businesses and indicates its dispute or with your written consent shall not be subject to this restriction.

(v) According to Article 11 (3) in theAct, when the specific purpose of personal data collection disappears or the period for collecting personal data expires, you may request our company to delete and stop processing or utilizing your personal data. As stipulated in the proviso, the Company’s utilization of data which is necessary for the execution of businesses or with your written consent shall not be subject to this restriction. 

 VI. You can choose whether to provide relevant personal data and categories. If the personal data and categories you refuse to provide are the data required for business audit or operation, we may not be able to provide you with the relevant services due to our inability to conduct necessary business audit or operation.
